We are happy to announce that we have partnered with our friends at MapThatPad.com to bring you some cool new features on Urban Edge.  Now, every no fee ny apartment listing you see on our website can be added to your MapThatPad account with the click of a mouse.  Simply click on the MapThatPad logo, and it will automatically save it with your other listings.

What is MapThatPad? It’s a website, but it functions more like an app, or an add-on. You can save listings that you find interesting from a variety of websites (like Urban Edge, StreetEasy, the New York Times, and even Craigslist) all in one place. You can even add notes to the listings, and email them to friends, or share them on Facebook. There’s a link back to the original listing, so you can always refer back to it as well.

But wait, that’s not all! You can print your listings, organize the list in various ways, add appointments to update your Google Calendar, email the property managers and owners directly from your list, view your listings on a map or a list… the convenience factor here is amazing.  You can even use it on your mobile phone.

And if you’re looking for an apartment with a friend or roommates, everyone can share the same list, make their own comments, add their own listings they find, etc. Check out the video below, for more information.

Got the idea?  Then what are you waiting for? Go check out the MapThatPad website. Or just click on the MapThatPad logo on any Urban Edge listing… it will save that listing for you, and take you to the website where you can try out all the neat features, many before you even create an account.

As always, don’t forget to follow them on Twitter, and “like” them on Facebook.  Hey… while you’re at it, do the same for Urban Edge here (Facebook) and here (Twitter).  </end shameless plug>

  • What is Urban Edge?

Urban Edge is a FREE no fee apartment website. Apartments for rent are listed by the owners, property managers, and leasing agents. Many of them connect their database directly to ours, so you're not looking at listings that have already been rented.

Here's what you WON'T find: bait and switch ads, brokers pretending to be owners, the same apartment posted by 20 different agents, and scam postings. How, you ask, do we do that?

This is how: no one posts an apartment for rent without their account first being approved by our top notch staff, trained to sniff out evil-doers (and brokers charging a fee).

Nabes we cover: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester County, Nassau County, Northern New Jersey (Hudson, Bergen and Essex Counties), and Fairfield County in CT.
