Park Slope residents, your neighborhood just got a whole lot more beery. A few weeks ago, in the southern end of Park Slope, right next door to the lovely Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn native Ted Mann opened up his 13,000-square-foot, indoor- outdoor-drinking mega-spot, Greenwood Park.
Park Slope’s Zito’s Sandwich Shoppe, which is now actually ShoppeS, plural, is exactly the sort of place every neighborhood needs, especially if said neighborhood is home to lots of families, to lots of young (and fun) professionals, and especially especially if it’s right by one of the city’s great “backyards,” in this case Prospect Park.
