The other portion is made up of 6-story tenement buildings which take up the entirety of a few blocks, making it relatively easy to search for the neighborhood's best NY apartments.

Living In Park Versailles

Westchester Avenue is easily the main thoroughfare in Park Versailles. With an abundance of small shops and local businesses, residents of the neighborhood are bound to find everything they need to fit the basics. But for any specialty items or unique services, most will find the need to leave the neighborhood, or the borough altogether. For that reason, there are several local bus lines that begin in town and pass through the neighborhood.

Residents of Park Versailles apartments are lucky when it comes to transit, as most of the neighborhood's tenement blocks are on the sidestreets just off of Westchester Avenue. This means that tenants in these buildings won't need to walk more than 3 blocks to get to the nearest subway station, and no more than 6 for those living a bit further. In this case, the transit is the number 6 train, which runs above Westchester Avenue for the entire length of the community. Four evenly placed stops service the neighborhood from Elder Avenue all the way to Parkchester Station at the eastern end.

Although the neighborhood isn't as close to the Bronx's treasured greenspaces as some other places, it does have a few nearby attractions. Just to the north sits the Bronx Zoo, and beyond that is the New York Botanical Gardens. But this neighborhood is more about its residential ambiance than about its activities. Rather, looking for Park Versailles apartments is a smart choice if you want affordable rent with even better access to public transit.
