Windsor Terrace Apartments

Windsor Terrace is a Brooklyn neighborhood bordered by Prospect Park to the northeast and Greenwood Cemetery to the southwest, with Prospect Park West (and Park Slope) to the North and Canton Avenue (and Kensington) to the South.


Situated just south and west of the gorgeous Park Slope and Park Slope South neighborhoods, residents of Windsor Terrace will have no trouble finding leisurely activities around the area.


The housing options vary by block, but most Windsor Terrace apartments can be found within the neighborhood's rowhouses, a few newer mid-rise buildings, or in some of the area's semi-detached rowhouses with front yards and garages. Many side-streets are densely treelined, creating beautiful green canopies overhead. If you're lucky, you might be able to find an available rental within some of the neighborhood's distinguished two-story, brick patio houses.


Living in Windsor Terrace

Most Windsor Terrace apartments are within steps of Brooklyn's beautiful and expansive Prospect Park. Offering huge lawns and wooded areas, Prosepct Park provides Windsor Terrace residents with a close, and incredible place for recreation and relaxation. The public schools around Windsor Terrace are highly regarded among the neighborhood families, and P.S. 154 in particular, grabs plenty of attention from parents living in outlying areas. 


Although there aren't too many subway options in the area, most NY apartments in Windsor Terrace use the MTA subway's F & G trains at Fort Hamilton Parkway to commute into Manhattan or toDowntown Brooklyn.


One major thoroughfare through Windsor Terrace is Prospect Park West, which offers an array of shopping and dining options. One popular eatery, Terrace Bagels, has created neighborhood buzz, and some residents consider it to serve some of the area's best bagels. If you like sushi, you're in for a treat with Sushi Yama on Prospect Park West. Whatever you are into, it is probably only a few short blocks from your Windsor Terrace apartment.
