As a neighborhood builder, Atlantic Development Group is devoted to preserving and enhancing New York’s status as America’s greatest urban center. Founded in 1995 by Peter Fine and Marc Altheim, Atlantic has become one of New York’s leading real-estate companies.

Inspired by the company principals’ background in social service work, the organization seeks to build housing that speaks to residents’ lifestyle needs and is more than simply brick and mortar. Whether it’s affordable or market-rate housing, Atlantic builds state-of-the-art properties.

Since its founding, Atlantic has grown into a fully integrated real estate firm, with 250 employees  and different subsidiaries responsible for development, construction and building management. Including projects currently in construction, Atlantic has developed 70 residential and mixed-use properties, with 6,500 housing units and 300,000 square feet of retail and community space. Each project enhances the surrounding neighborhood, as well as the lives of its residents and the people who work there.
