Pelham Parkway is a neighborhood in the Bronx located just south of the Pelham Parkway and east of the Bronx River Parkway. This small enclave consists mostly of low- to mid-rise apartment buildings situated east of the elevated 5 train tracks.

White Plains Road is the Pelham Parkway neighborhood's main thoroughfare, with plenty of shops offering just about everything from banks to restaurants to basic local markets. This road is distinguishable by the elevated number 2 train that hangs over the center of the avenue.

Living in Pelham Parkway

Residents living in Pelham Parkway apartments are situated rather close to the Bronx Zoo and the New York Botanical Gardens, giving families a few city attractions for recreation.

Commuters can take the numbers 2 & 5 trains into Manhattan through two stations in the neighborhood. The 5 train can be caught at the Morris Park station at all times, and the Pelham Parkway station during rush hour only (in peak direction). The number 2 train stops at Pelham Parkway at all times, and always runs local in the Bronx.
