Borough Park Apartments
There are reasonably-priced NY apartments in Borough Park, a neighborhood in southeastern Brooklyn. At one time Borough Park counted its borders as being 11th and 18th Avenues, and 40th and 60th Streets, but in the past couple of decades the community has expanded as far as 9th and 22nd Avenues, and 36th and 60th Streets.
The Borough Park Community
Residents of Borough Park can commute to Manhattan via the D or the M trains, as well as public buses. This neighborhood has a warm, community feel with vibrant streetlife. With such a large number of families with children, Borough Park has maintained a strong supportive group within the neighborhood. Those who choose to move into a Borough Park apartment can participate in some of the several all-volunteer service groups, which have been shown to strengthen the threads of the neighborhood's interwoven fabric.
Growth in Borough Park
The neighborhood's population continues to grow, with a construction and home-expansion boom in the past two decades that has added several new mid-rise Borough Park apartments in addition to free-standing houses. Businesses, too, have flocked to the Borough Park community to take advantage of the rising population, including dozens of locally-owned, strictly kosher storefronts on the bustling main commercial strip of 13th Avenue.
