    Conveniences Surrounding Flatbush

Residents of Flatbush apartments have a fairly quick and painless commute into Manhattan, with multiple stops along the B, Q, 2 and 5 train lines. For recreation, Flatbush residents go to the excellent Prospect Park, designed in 1867 by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux after the duo had completed Manhattan's Central Park. Today, the park still features huge open spaces with playing fields, sunny lawns for relaxing and picnicking, a carousel, boathouse, skating rink, zoo and a bandshell that hosts free concerts all summer long.
