Marine Park Apartments
Marine Park is a Brooklyn neighborhood, which is situated near the western waterfront of Jamaica Bay.
Situated between Mill Basin and Gerritsen Beach, Marine Park is an area with mostly semi-detached rowhouses, some single-family homes, and a few scattered low-rise apartment buildings.
This section of Brooklyn is bordered to its south and east by the park of the same name. This greenspace is filled with salt marshes and beautiful waterfront scenery, providing residents with an expanse of nature right next door.
Living in Marine Park
Compared with much of Brooklyn, Marine Park is rather isolated from the MTA subway system. However, Manhattan commuters can take one of four buses to the Kings Highway station stop off of the B & Q trains. But citizens are not limited to the train, as there is the BM4 express bus that picks up passengers in Marine Park at the intersection of Nostrand Avenue and Quentin Road. The trip to Midtown Manhattan takes no more than 50 minutes, and travelling to Trinity Place in Lower Manhattan only takes about 45 minutes.
