Ditmars / Steinway Apartments in Queens

    Ditmars / Steinway

Ditmars / Steinway is a section of northwestern Queens that was originally a company town, developed by Steinway & Sons, a piano firm.

Often labeled as part of Astoria, almost half of this neighborhood is surrounded by water, from the East River to the west, the western end of the Long Island Sound to the north, and Bowery Bay and La Guardia Airport to the east.

This neighborhood has a huge variety of housing stock available for rent, including low-rise apartment buildings, as well as detached and attached townhouses.

Flanked by industrial waterfront at Ditmars' northern end, this unique neighborhood's array of housing varies in style as well as pricing. Residents of Ditmars apartments have subway access to Manhattan via the N & Q trains, via the Astoria - Ditmars Boulevard Station.
