Fresh Meadows is a Queens neighborhood with a generally suburban atmosphere. With the exception of the Fresh Meadows housing complex at the north, this neighborhood is almost purely residential, and is made up almost entirely of beautiful single-family homes. 

This leafy neighborhood is bordered to the south by Flushing, and to the northeast by Hillcrest. A quiet community, this is a great suburban neighborhood to search for NY apartments.

Living in Fresh Meadows

Residents of Fresh Meadows apartments are right next door to Cunningham Park. This large, recreational greenspace is made up of 358 acres, and provides several mountain biking trails.

Union Turnpike is a major thoroughfare through the neighborhood, and has several local mom-and-pop shops to serve the neighborhood needs. The downside to this neighborhood its inaccessibility to any subway line. This suburban community is situated in between Grand Central Parkway and the Long Island Expressway, proving rather efficient for car-owners of Fresh Meadows apartments.
