Living in Saddle Brook

The Saddle River runs through down, essentially separating the town from its easterly neighbor, Rochelle Park. And running along this river is the Saddle River County Park, a five section riverside park that runs from Ridgewood and down to Rochelle Park. The portion located in Saddle Brook proper is known as the Otto Pehle Area, which features a lake, picnic areas, a softball field, along with basketball & tennis courts.

Saddle Brook's close proximity to I-80 provides residents with easy commuting access into Manhattan. Commuters living in Saddle Brook apartments are located close to the Plauderville train station serviced by the NJ Transit. Along this line, commuters can either transfer trains in Secaucus to a Penn Station-bound train, or terminate in Hoboken and jump on the PATH train for the final leg into New York. But Saddle Brook's location at I-80 is great for automobile commuters, and allows for an easy trip into Manhattan via the George Washington Bridge.
