Upper Saddle River Apartments

Upper Saddle River is situated in the northern section of Bergen County. This town borders New York's Rockland County at its northern end, and is one of the most affluent communities in New Jersey.

This leafy town is mainly residential, with many large homes on 1+ acre lots. The gorgeous roads wind around the hilly terrain, and provide residents with a charming, quiet bedroom community. Though this town isn't the best place to find NJ apartments, there are still some rentals available in a handful of Upper Saddle River apartment buildings.

Living in Upper Saddle River

Upper Saddle River has a library right in town, and has its main commercial activity along Route 17, which is the community's border with the town of Ramsey.

Nearby is the Ramapo Valley Reservation, which lies a few miles west of town, on a 3,000 acre plot of land. This nature preserve has several hiking trails and a beautiful lake called Scarlet Oak Pond. This greenspace is the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon or to enjoy the beautiful autumn foliage among the thousands of wooded acres.

There are too few train stations around the town to call it "accessible", but commuters living in Upper Saddle River apartments can take a NJ Transit train from nearby Ramsey Main Street Station. This line, however, does not go directly into Penn Station, rather, passengers will have to transfer to a Manhattan-bound train at Secaucus, or take the train to Hoboken instead, for a quick PATH ride into the city.
