Langham

With a storied past, Langham is as much a primer in the history of the area as it is a rental establishment. Built back in 1905, Langham was originally constructed at a cost of more the $2 million.  Pleasantly placed at 135 Central Park West in the Upper West Side, this building is just as luxurious today as it was in yesteryear.

Langham was originally created with every modern amenity of the time. Designed by the architects Clinton and Russell, it was based around the French Second Empire Style of architecture. Catering to the wealthy, the complex quickly developed an illustrious clientele.  Today, the Langham is listed as a part of the Upper West Side/Central Park local historic district. In addition, it also became listed in the United States National Register of Historic Places on November 9, 1982. Exceptionally designed and elegantly furnished, this noteworthy complex holds within it stories of the past of New York City.
