Corona Apartments

Corona is a neighborhood in the northern, central section of Queens.  As one of Queens' most densely-poluated region, there are plenty of NY apartments to find for a relatively reasonable price.

This area is bordered to the north by East Elmhurst, to the east by Flushing, to the west by Jackson Heights, and to the south by Rego Park & Forest Hills, and to the southwest by Elmhurst.

Life in Corona

To the east of Corona is the enormous Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, which was the site of the  two New York-hosted World's Fairs in 1939 and 1964.  One of the largest parks in the entire city, this space is home to Citi Field, and the USTA National Tennis Center.

The reasonable prices of Corona apartments can be reflected in the few subway lines that service the neighborhood.  The number 7 train is Corona's main public transport into Manhattan, and services the neighborhood via three station stops:  111th Street;  103rd Street - Corona Plaza;  and Junction Boulevard.  As one of the most eastward stations on this train, the trip to Midtown Manhattan takes about 30 minutes, but [sometimes] more importantly, the number 7 train is notable for being very crowded during the morning and evening rush hours.

Corona's main streets include Roosevelt Avenue, Junction Boulevard, 108th Street, Northern Boulevard, and Corona Avenue.  The northern section of Corona holds several popular establishments, including Rincon Criollo which serves up authentic Cuban cuisine.
